Lesvos is an island made up of villages, some popular and lively with Greeks and tourists, some hidden in the mountains completely unaffected by tourism. These traditional villages no longer exist in the more popular resorts of Greece. You will find wonderful beaches, historical sights, taverns, and shops. What's more, English is widely spoken.

Molyvos
Molyvos is the most picturesque village of Lesvos and one of the most beautiful places that Greece has to show. The village is truly amazing. Built on a slope that is covered with stone houses and shops, the village surrounds the awesome castle found at the top. The coast leads to one of the most beautiful harbors in Greece. The harbor is a working fishing harbor where you can view the sea commerce while dining in some of the best restaurants in Greece.

Petra
Stretched along a beautiful beach lined with cafes and restaurants, the interior of the town surrounds a large rock on which the church of the Glykofiloussa Panayia (Our Lady of the Sweet Kiss) is literally shining. From the church the view of Petra and the surrounding sea and country side is spectacular extending all the way to the coast of Asia Minor. Outside the gulf of Petra, the little islands of St. George and Psira frame one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
